Mary Jane Verniere is an artist blacksmith practicing traditional techniques in the Glen Forge. Her work integrates an ancient discipline with contemporary design, resulting in pieces that are strong, simple and elegant.

Teer Gallery
opened in June 2001 by painter Mary Neville, all visitors are welcome. A graduate of the National College of Art and Design, Mary worked as a graphic designer in Scotland for five years before traveling to Asia for a year in 1991. From 1995 to 2000 she lived and painted in Taiwan, taking a year out to travel around Africa in 1997. Her paintings have been described as 'a celebration of colour', with her early work invoking scenes and memories of her personal travel log around Africa and Asia. Her current work tends to lean towards impressionism, echoing the colours and moods of the landscape that surrounds her. The Teer Gallery with an amazing view over Brandon Bay is open all year.

Michael Flaherty
was born in Cloghane on the Dingle Penninsula, County Kerry in 1950. Michael studied in Maynooth, Cork and Sligo before returning to Kerry in 1989, here he developed his distinctive style of painting to convey his love of the Kerry landscape.

Cloonsharragh Crafts
Fiona and Jazz Wood are stained glass artists who live and work in Cloonsharragh, a hamlet between Cloghane and Brandon in County Kerry. Their studio overlooks Brandon Bay and is surrounded by Stradbally, Beenoskee and Brandon Mountains. Fiona and Jazz specialise in producing stained glass work that reflects the area. All their designs are original, incorporating the flowers and scenery of the bay. Fuchsias, flag irises, calla lilies, knotwork, celtic designs and the mountains are the inspirations for their windows, lightcatchers, lamps and mirrors. The watery landscape of Kerry, the sandstone of the hills and the ever changing light of the skies are captured in the beauty of stained glass. Visitors are always welcome to our studio to watch us at work. If you are looking for something unique in your house we are experienced at working with clients in producing quality, original pieces.
